Known for his Eurotrance beats and dance-pop singles, Basshunter has quickly become Sweden's latest go to DJ/Producer/Hitmaker! Since releasing his debut album in 2006, Basshunter concert dates have put Stockholm at the top of the Euro party-scene and have made him an overnight celebrity.
Born in Halmstad, Sweden; Basshunter began his music career in 1999 when he self-produced and released music through his website at the age of 15. He eventually found success as a DJ and by 2006 he had secured a deal with Warner Music who released his first hit single "Boten Anna" in 2006. He went international in 2007 with his single "Now You're Gone", which hit #1 on the UK and German singles charts. An album of the same name was released in 2008 and it peaked at #1 on the UK and New Zealand charts solidifying Basshunter's ascent as an international recording star.
He released his third full album, "Bass Generation", in 2009 and it was an immediate success. Basshunter scheduled an international sold-out "Bass Generation Tour" in 2009. Basshunter tour dates were also scheduled for a ten-date UK stint and featured Fugative as the opening act. The media darling also joined the cast of the UK's version of "Celebrity Big Brother" during the 2010 season where he placed fourth overall.
For 2011, Basshunter is currently perfecting his untitled fourth album which is expected to be released later this year. In the meantime, you can download his recent singles "Saturday" and "Fest i hela huset" which are currently available through his website. Basshunter concert dates are not currently scheduled.
